To say precious metals and jewellery flows in our blood would not exactly be out-of-place! We are visibly India’s oldest and most respected jewellers and are proud of our lineage, a lineage spread across 200 years of rich and varied history replete with tales of steadfast workmanship,customer-centric vision and a rock-solid reputation of honesty to one’s cause and trade. It all started in the intervening years between 1810 and 1820 when at the call given by Sardar Parshuram Bhau Patwardhan and Shri Balasaheb Patwardhan, Shri Narayanrao Vasudev Gadgil, the latter a businessman of small means in the village of Trimbak in the Malvan Taluka of Konkan made his way to Sangli to create a new enterprise for himself. It was his son Shri Ganesh Pant who picked up the intricacies of the trade under the tutelage of Shri Modak of Trimbak who too made Sangli his home. In the November of 1832, flush with experience Shri Ganesh Pant set out to test his destiny with his own enterprise named “Ganesh Narayan Gadgil”.
